Partners since 2022, we started our relationship with the United Ag & Turf, Northeast, brand performing comprehensive email marketing services, eventually expanding our relationship to become their agency of record in 2023. After beginning our broader partnership, we quickly set out to assist them in refreshing their brand and image.

The Challenge

Our client’s name, “United,” presented a significant challenge due to the saturation of other “United” brands in the marketplace, leading to confusion and a lack of distinction. Additionally, their dealer group had gone through a series of M&A and needed to escape a “corporate” reputation.

The Strategy

We conducted extensive research on United Ag & Turf and Construction & Forestry’s ideal customers, analyzing paid media analytics, business reviews, and customer data to identify the seasoned homeowner as our target. This customer values family time, supports local businesses, loves the land, and cares for their property, while being budget-conscious and prioritizing convenience. By creating a brand identity that reflected their values, lifestyle, and location in the Northeast, we ensured the marketing efforts would drive the right results and meaningfully connect with the consumer.

The Results

We developed a distinct brand identity using bold visual elements and topographic designs that reflected their New England roots. In addition, we created comprehensive brand guidelines to provide a clear path for the client to consistently build upon this new identity. This rebrand uniquely addressed the challenge by focusing not just on design, but on creating a long-term strategy for differentiation in a crowded market. The brand guidelines empowered the client to consistently project this new identity and maintain their unique positioning.
